full hot Breakfast

A full breakfast is served each morning. There is a Keurig and hot kettle available in our cozy parlor 24/7 to brew a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

When the Inn is full, we offer two breakfast times: 8am and 9:30am. When there are fewer guests, there is typically one seating at 9am. If you are our only guests, you may choose a time between 7:30-9:30am. Please let the innkeeper know your preference when you check in or beforehand. If you have any food allergies or food restrictions, please let her know so that you receive a meal that you will enjoy. This can include hatreds of any foods, if you like mild or spicy -- don't be shy about providing detail. We want breakfast to be a special experience and it can range from traditional to inventive.

Breakfast is chef's choice. Each morning meal begins with a starter, followed by a main course. Full coffee and tea service is provided at breakfast, along with a selection of juices. If you are traveling with smaller children and they would be best with a more kid-friendly breakfast, please let Shelley know in advance.

Recent meals at The Parsonage have included:

  • Apple cinnamon bread pudding with bourbon sauce and Old Bay sausage
  • Potato, bacon, grilled onion quiche with asparagus and fresh fruit
  • Monte Cristo sandwich with maple pecan dipping syrup
  • Southwest strata with slow cooked beans and grilled pineapple
  • Baked oatmeal with fresh cream, nuts, berries, and bacon crumbles

If you prefer a lighter breakfast such as granola, fruit and yogurt, please let the innkeeper know in advance.

Afternoon or check-in add-ons:
Shelley can create lovely charcuterie boards and provide wine of your choice (a nice red, white, rose, or sparkling) for your check-in or during your stay, as well as floral arrangements and gourmet sack lunches.
