The Parsonage inn, circa 1883, is located at the NW end of the National Historic District of St. Michaels, Maryland. This colonial seaport features a picturesque harbor on the Miles River which feeds into the Chesapeake Bay. The town has become a destination for boaters and travelers in the Mid-Atlantic area.  The entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is across the street and the outstanding "208 Talbot" Restaurant right next door!  There are many fine restaurants and shops in the town along with golf courses, tennis courts and nature trails nearby.  Great bicycle trips include the 8 mile run over to the ferry landing to cross the Tred Avon River to historic Oxford.

Our sister inn, the George Brooks House, has a lovely swimming pool and hot tub surrounded by gardens only a half-mile from this inn..  Guests at the Parsonage can use the pool and hot tub from 11 am until sunset from Memorial Day until late September.

The Parsonage Inn is known for its gracious hospitality, delicious breakfasts, in-town, location, free bikes, WIFI, cable TV, and concierge services.  We look forward to seeing you soon. Call us directly or book through this website to ensure the best room rates and remember - We NEVER charge "Resort Fees"!

We have implemented the "SAFE STAY" guidelines published on April 27th by the American Hotel and Lodging Association to protect guests and staff from the COVID-19 virus. We have removed bed comforters, pillow shams and decorative pillows to provide a sanitized environment. Extra cleaning and sanitizing measures have been implemented throughout the house. We are still serving a delicious breakfast with 6-foot separation between couples. When you arrive at our inn, note the X marks on the floor leading to the check-in area and the hand sanitizer and masks. If you have any concerns, please call us to discuss!

The George Brooks House B&B is located just 1/2 mile past the Parsonage Inn.  This property was designated by Talbot County as an historic property in 2000, and after an extensive restoration and expansion in 2001,  received the "Heritage Award" for the best historic restoration for Talbot County in 2002.  The following year the inn received Maryland's highest award for an "outstanding historic restoration".  The inn has six rooms, including a King Jacuzzi room with over-sized two person whirlpool tub.  Parsonage Inn guests  are permitted to use the pool and hot tub during the day from May through September (please call GBH in advance).
I traveled with my three daughters and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was unbelievable-gourmet and very attentive to dietary restrictions-one traveler was vegetarian and the other allergic to shell fish. Sally was the most accommodating innkeeper-could not do enough to make your stay comfortable. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, wineries, Patriot Cruise, museums. July 30, 2018

Beautiful Inn, Excellent Breakfasts Recently my husband and I had a lovely mid-week stay at The Parsonage Inn. Sallie, the innkeeper, was an exceptional hostess. Our room on the first floor was large, comfortable and decorated to match the beautiful Victorian home. Breakfast was amazing. The exquisitely set table and delicious multi-course gourmet breakfasts were a treat. There’s no need to search online for things to do or places to eat in St. Michaels. Sallie has a wealth of information, so ask her before you make plans. Little touches, like bikes, cold bottled water, coffee, teas, and baked goodies served in the afternoon, added to a very pleasant stay. We appreciated the use of the outdoor pool located close by at their other inn. We will definitely return and will recommend The Parsonage Inn to our friends. August 20, 2018
